About Me

I’m Clemmie Broom - a transformational coach and Time to Think practitioner based in North Oxfordshire. My practice is based on the strong belief that everyone has the resources within them to make exceptional, exciting, inspirational choices that can transform their lives.

My coaching is grounded in Time to Think © — a powerful approach pioneered by Nancy Kline, centred on the idea that the quality of everything we do depends on the quality of the thinking we do first. My expertise is in creating the right environment for those I work with to access their inner wisdom and clearest thinking.

Before coaching, I worked for well over a decade in the world of journalism and books. I worked as a journalist on various national newspapers, became head of digital publishing for an independent publisher and spent a number of happy years as head of business development for a leading London bookshop. I also founded and ran two exciting startup businesses. Amongst all this I lived abroad in countries including Nepal, Pakistan, Rwanda, Romania and Argentina.

However, in 2020 I made a transformative decision to follow a new path, starting with a Masters in Psychology. Since then I’ve spent a further fascinating year studying Counselling Psychology and qualified as a ICF approved coach and NLP Master Practitioner. I have supported women’s groups, become a Mental Health First Aider and studied Heart-based Meditation and Transformation with Dr Liz Sparkes.

When I am not working, I am immersed in the beautiful chaos of family life, an ever-growing menagerie of animals and plenty of exciting travels - another passion in my life.
